In a nutshell:

Visiting as well as local solicitors are interviewed directly, screened through the national Tomchei Tzedakos database, and vetted for level of need. Upon approval, solicitors are issued a time limited certificate with a designated certificate number. Donors designate funds from their prefunded accounts through the online platform. Unlike conventional Donor Advised Funds (who charge an annual asset management fee), or other processors (who charge a percentage fee for each transaction,) the organization does not charge a contribution fee for distributing charity;  ensuring that 100% of a philanthropists donation is received by the solicitor.  

Contributions to the organization are tax deductible as per the United States Internal Revenue Code, Section 170(a) because the organization is recognized as a tax exempt organization per Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Accounts may be funded via bank transfer or credit card as well as via wire transfer, Zelle, or through Donor Advised Funds.
